So I finally got hired somewhere a few weeks ago. The White River Amphitheater. For those in Washington should know what that is. I have to direct parking and junk and then go watch the concert (still being paid 8.50 to watch) and then direct traffic out. My first concert is going to be today.. Snoop Dogg... anyone have a better first job?

Matt

My first job was at the Woodfield Mall at The Colorado Pen Company. Worked there only a year through my senior year in high school. Not too bad at $9.75 an hour back in '99.

I was a laborer for a fruit company in the summers when I was fourteen and fifteen. I got paid $7.75 an hour to do all kinds of manual labor outside in the summer heat. It sucked but it was cool to have money.

I worked at Papa Murphy's for my first job. I soon upgraded to manager there and then quit even though they were offering like 10 bucks an hour ($1.75 more than the job I went to). I hated that place.

Fred Meyer, Horrible job, and horrible pay (union only maid it worse)

7.02 an hour, then raided to 7.12 when minimum wage when up, then 7.65 when I transfered to garden. witch was total bs because new hire people in garden got 8.00 flat I had had 2 years with the company.

I was a kart bi*ch, then got promoted to garden bi*ch...

anyway I now work for Denali Advanced Integration (a friend of mine that I pushed karts with got me the interview for it, and basicly got me the job) Its a company the is hired by big name companies to do technical work and help desk kinda stuff. I'm currently a "Sever Technition"
