Gunk- motor flush, anybody use it?? Options

seafoam seems to be the trusted product for stuff like this

i've used that stuff before.. it works. I ussually add it in the old oil when i am about to do an oil change. I ussually put it in about 200 miles before the next oil change. I would not leave it in there too long. I think its some sort of acid that scrubs your engine, not sure if this is it.

if u read the directions it says DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. tells you to let it idle for 5min before you change the oil and drian it all out.

kind of off this topic but do anybody have trouble changing the oil w/o getting oil all over you when you first take out the plug?

not really, if you don't want oil on ur hands, wear gloves

Meh, i just use a rag and it works good enough, u just gotta be quick

i dont care about my hands but when i take it off it splatters against my hands and gets on the driveway but i guess i could just use a rag never thougt of that
