Has anyone ever replaced the head unit in a '96-'02 Toyota 4Runner? I want to surprise my friend and steal her car(with her parents' permission) and install a CD player for her, so does anyone know if it's hard?

Thanks in advance! biggrin.gif

Bump. There are levers on the climate control, but the document I got from Pali says to remove the climate control knobs. Anyone know how to remove the climate control easily?

I need to be able to do this install fast and without breaking anything, because if I get caught doing it it won't be a surprise and if I break something her dad will murder me. smile.gif

You know it. biggrin.gif I don't go to all the trouble of getting keys from very scary parents and borrowing people's cars to install CD players in them for nothing. wink.gif
