Ok so i have been single for well way to long, maybe a year an half. i havnt been to into dating , jst trying to get my life back together. So my good friend has a party last night, and one of his friends from hs, now just grad college and is back for the summer came out and brought her sister. all i can say is wow! shes beautiful and smart and seems to be into the same things as me. the great thing was she kept wanting to talk to me .. so we talked the whole night, wel until she left at 12:30 or so, cause she had to work, but she wanted to know when the next day i had off, an said we should do somthing. she dosnt have a cell phone, an ence i know her sister some what id just call her housephone, she gave me her s/n too. Im going nutts just thinking about her, and I dont even reallyknow her that well. I think its just hard for me to find a girl that i can talk to that im atracted to ANDis atracted to me. Its nutts an i dont know what to do.

Oh also the ****y thing is, shegoes to school in PA so she is only here for the summer..

how should i ask her out? say lets hang out, take her out on my skiff (my power boat isnt working yet.. lol ) or take her out on a date or to the movies?? Im so out of this stuff.. oh Also im 20 21 in dec.. an shes 19- 20 in nov..

The only thing I'd say about dinner and movie is that while at the movie, you won't be talking to her. The best first dates don't involve movies.

I'd say take her to dinner and a baseball game (if you're into sports) or somewhere where you can have good conversation.

I'm planning on taking a girl out to dinner and a baseball game because she plays softball for our college and I think it would be a good idea to find a common interest between us to start off our first date. Hope it helps! And good luck man!!

If you do a movie, my suggestion is movie, then dinner. Guarantees you have a starting point for conversation later, and if it's one of those date movies, lots of opportunities to explore each other's hopes, dreams and takes on life without it being too obvious.

The skiff is a great idea, but "alone on the ocean" may be a little premature. First dates unless a prior friendship exists should usually be done in public.

BTW, it's summer. Find some seasonal flowers, but make it relatively small and neat. Daisy's rarely go amiss, as they're pretty, smell nice but aren't overpowering (unlike lilies), and aren't intimidating (e.g. roses).

the boat thing sounds awesome. Take her to some area you know real well, and have fun just riding around. I'm a huge fan of out-door dates. Cheaper, and different. DInner and a movie is cool too, but I always try to take chicks out for something they couldn't do otherwise, and something they'd remember.

Plus, all the girls I know wouldn't refuse a cool boat ride.

well i talked to her online a bit last night, but had to work early so didnt do anything.she came into work today, didnt get to talk much cause it was busy, but i hoped online at work, annd she said she bought a kyte and wanted me to come "fly" it with her after i get off work, at the beach.. so we'll see how that goes.

just do the dinner and movie, you can talk at dinner, and then you can mull over what you guys talked about at the movie, so there will be less pressure, then afterwards if you want to talk more get ice cream or get some coffee.

This is a safe bet, a lot of times you can plan something wonderful, but if you dont know what shes really into it could go the wrong way.

well ok.. I went to the beach, didnt fly a kite, but didnt really want to. We just talked for hours, then when the sun went down we went back an watched the stars on top of her car.. lol.. It was well id say a pretty great night.. Dont think id say it was a date or what not. Also another thing is, how soon or how late is the time to give a kiss..
