I did these turns to the guy Snakeloa, he is the owner of the GT4 in Germany, and sometimes he shows up on this board... He wanted clear turns for his GT4, and he wanted for Germany police to not notice they are not TUV aproved, so i had to make the writing of E13 and etc on them smile.gif

This is the comparison to the stock turn vs DCW clear turn biggrin.gif

Hope you guys like this smile.gif

That's awesome work Romas. I think I've seen someone attempt to just sell the clear lens itself for a couple hundred bucks. Again, awesome.

@shin

soon ..... As soon as they arrive wink.gif

THESE INDICATORS ARE FOR GT FOUR ST205 ONLY.... (because of the different shape)

Unfortunatly Doggy who made them up for me was not able to make complete new ones @ the moment. So we decided to modify the old ones. It took him two days to get these two indicators to look like that....

But look at this great result!!!! redface.gif

And i bagged him to do us all a favour and make a grou-buy-modification out of that....

Well what can i say he said yes smile.gif

OK here is what we planned....

So this thread is only to see about how many GT Four ST205 drivers would like to get their indicators modified.

It would be like that.
As soon as we decide how and when this should start....
Everybody is going to send their parts to one driver who is going to send them in one parcel (with name tags on them) to doggy.

Then Doggy is going to modify them:
a) cut out the orange glass (he keeps a little surrounding of the orange stuff)
b) then he cuts the clear one to fit into it
c) he glues them together
d) sands them down and polishes the edges
e) he engraves the EU permission mark E13 and a Toyota Sign (he could leave that away for you over there in the US)
f) he colours the surrounding (other colours than black are possible (i guess that would cost a little extra for the colour...)

Then he will send them back to us.

In advance i will have to say again we still have to decide if we start this soon or during the winter season. And it will take quite some time ....

the costs you are asking????

Well 220 US$ a pair biggrin.gif

Just kidding ok 60€ which would be around 74US$ regarding to the exchange rate a pair plus postage wink.gif I think thats a fair price regarding 2 days work (he might get it done a bit faster in the future, but it is still an awfull lot of work)

So who would be interested then:
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)

I hope i got everything allright.... If not please correct me doGGy smile.gif

cheers Joerch

Everything is almost correct Joerch.

But for now, this GB is for the guys who are inpatience, cuz i DO PLAN to mass produce compleatly new turns, so there would be NO need for sending me your turn signals. As for now, the situations is just like Joerch said.

Doggy, I am in for a pair...my bumper will not be installed until next June, so you have a year to mass produce the clears or we will book a flight to Europe and kidnapp your ass and bring you to the U.S. for you to do slave work on Celica customization, LOL!

Guys, i took 2 weeks for vacation... but it seems like i cant even take one day off cuz im working and working.... Right now (today) first pair of turns is getting ready.

But still, mold need some adjustments to be made... cuz after the first pair it was damaged again (3 time in row frown.gif) So after the last fix of the mold everything will be just fine, cuz right now im correcting all the errors i made and will start on them ASAP...

Well, today i did a test fit for turns.... And it seems like i will have to start all over again with the turns.... cuz i made few mistakes when made the mold, and now turns do not fit as flush as i wanted .... Im kinda sad, cuz it took me soo long to make these, and too so much work and now everything is gone.....

well.... In the pics you wount see any inperfections, cuz they are small kinda, but i want to make this perfect as OEM. so.... everything will move on again, i will try to update the progress and this time make it right as it should be...

here are few pics:

I do.

You cant see the whole fitting situation in pics... Turns sit way to deep, and the part what screws to the pumre aint flush at all and there is a gap between bumper and turn....

well, after weekend im gonna know how much time will take to make another mold and strat all over again, cuz now im might order compleat new mold from company who produces lots of plastic things..... this will depent how much money they will want for the mold and etc...

gonna se how it goes..

Jay, sorry for not responding, but this week for me was horible, cuz my GF granfather died so i had to be with her.....

About the new mold, we figured out how to take mold straight from the stock turns, now the only thing whats stops me from finishing the mold is the inside of the turns, need to find how to make the glass holding place perfectly and another few things... Might be the next week i will have another pair of new turn for test fitting..

This time they fitted. And fitted really good. Still need to adjust few things on the driver side turn (it sits not in the center, droped down a bit, cuz of the screw hole). But everything else is ok smile.gif This means - mass production will soon begin biggrin.gif

Jay, your turs are on your way, just PM me your address smile.gif

Ok Guys, here is the answer to most of you i think smile.gif

Well, i have to get a GT4 bumper in few days, so after this i will start the mass production cuz i will have a place (finally) Where to test them, and wount need to bug my friend about all this...

Production itself will be compleatly handmade. im using special type of plastic and building every single part of turns my self.... this takes time and i would have lots of pairs made in short period. frown.gif But this is the only way to make them as perfect as they can be and for the lowest price...

Price for one pair SHIPPED will be 80$ (for euro people 70 euros (i know i know 80$ arent 70 euros but i have to charge more in Euros....... frown.gif ) )

So stay tuned - i will soon have few pairs ready and let all of you know.

Thanks,
Romas

Hey man. If we're shipping bits over from the US, makes sense to use the same box perhaps....

See you Saturday to pick the car up. We can discuss then.
