what do you mean? the coloring in the pic is how it looks in real life. my clock is "blue" but not as blue as the climate or gauges. my drivers window switch is a blue led. thats all i really have blue if thats what you mean by envornment.

thanks. the gauges are these -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW
i didnt really have a choice on the red kph. i put some blue LEDs in the climate and some blue bulbs for the needles and nubers on the gauges. its a little too dim for my liking though.

that looks awesome, but the difference of the reds is too noticable in the middle. otherwise i think its really nice. anyone have pics of those gauges with blue LEDs?

nice Rocky!

which approach did you take for the climate control general illumination?
(paint the backs of the buttons?, solder in leds w/resistors?, something else?)

edit
oh never mind, just read your thread about it.
still, nice work!!

i'm actually thinking of taking the procarparts gauges off and either sticking with the white bulbs or going with some 194 6 led bulbs (blue) so that it'll be a bright blue not dull

i have a walkthrough (sort of) here:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=25461

ignore the title. i ended up using only 3 LEDs. i intended on using 5. 4 for main board, and 1 for defrostor. defrostor was too hard to get the wiring going through without a lot of work, and i didnt think a 4th LED on the main board was necessary.

I got my guages off ebay...

that was with the brightness nob thing on the side all the way down...so everything looks dark. Since then i have added red bulbs to make the needles/odometer light up red...i think i spent like 10 bucks on mine.
