I know this topic has been coverd over an over. I have read basicaly everything coverd in the last well close to two years.

Im going to need new brakes all around very soon. rotors are getting scored, pads are gone. I have now just the stock front disc an rear drum. I want some i can ride hard, but wont ware out as quick as some performance pads, also want to swap the rear to disc, and have never got a confermation on if the 5th gen gts rear disc will work or not. Any input is apreciated. Thanks

Doug

Im basicaly looking for th input from others that have posted and done the same thing, with updates how they enjoy there setup. also I will prolly just keep the car for a lil while longer, cause im gunna finish college and say fu*k circuitcity.

I switched to ceramic brake pads for my front and rear and love them, no squeaking and no brake dust. I feel that they also stop better than metallic but thats just my opinion. You should try them out. I forgot the company but they were about $40 for the front and like $35 for rear.

Rears are cosmetic. Fronts, although are pretty much cosmetic also... do increase the braking a little bit... (GT parts vs. ST parts)
