will these motor mounts have to be cut and welded or do u just replace the old ones with the new ones with no cutting or welding?? just wondering a guy that might can do the swap for me is wondering. thanks

Depends on what tranny your using. GT tranny - GT mounts, E153 - ST205 mounts.

Search and yeh shall find.

You need GT mounts all way round, bolts get them welded if you want.

you dont need all 4 gt mounts, but its a good idea to replace all the mounts.

i would suggest welding the mount just so it doesnt shift its position over time.
but yes it can be done with out welding

i donno i think celica3sgte had to grind one down to fit the engine in or the cam gear cover wouldnt fit

Yeah i had to grind one down. But I think you can use a mount that you don't have to grind down. Talk to lagos about that. As for welding, I don't know who welded anything. I know qatar welded bolts to the frame on the passenger side, but if you weld then you can't that the motor out if you need to. I wouldn't weld anything. We have a good writeup going about mounts for both trannys. If you have a gt tranny you use gt mounts all the way around. If you have the mr2T tranny you need to mix it up.
