Okay so I've told you all before that I wasnt gonna show my car until I got it all done... well I lied - Just got this done today and I'm hella excited about it so I gotta let you all see it...

NEWAYZ some of you might remember a topic I posted a while back about the GT4 hood alternative. well after quite a few post someone posted a universal GT4 hood scoop from erebuni.. After looking into it I found this one on the erebuni site

user posted image

Well after a few weeks and 152$ I got the thing and today we got it grafted into my hood and want to let you guys check it out - remember its not completly done but its pretty much ruffed out for now..

NEWAYZ heres the photos... Please give feedback

The reason the photos r cropped funny is I have some mods that I dont want to show yet on there, and yes that is a FMIC in the 3rd photo and yes I still need to do a little fitment on it so the airdam doesnt sit funny

BTW if you plan to do this you better have a REALLY good bodyshop fit this for you cuz like all erebuni products the fitment sucks!! really bad - we almost werent able to make this work so if you do this then make sure who ever does it knows there stuff

also here is where you can order it erebuni
It costed me a 152$ shipped to my door - would expect to pay around 300-500$ to have the hood done at a body shop

I think vents look cheap.. I might (big might) do a black powdercoated one in the opening in the hood and that would be it... I'm also thinkin about doing the two smaller scoops on the hood like the GT4 hood

sorry miss read post thought you where talkin about grilles... I think the vent would be too much

they aren't scoops in the gt4 hood, they are vents that allow hot air to exit the engine bay towards the rear of the car.

Neverstop, I commend you on your car. Even though it looks rough (due to obvious work on it) and not finished, it looks amazing. I hope to see more pictures in the near future. Great job!

That looks very good. I've seen it on a red Celica and it looked pretty sweet. smile.gif

And the front mount makes me want to see the rest of the car really badly! biggrin.gif

i think he was talking about putting a vent in the Front bumper between the headlights kinda like the GT4 bumper... Which I dont wanna do - Thinkin about doing the cowl vents on the hood though.

I plan on eventually getting the actual GT4 hood but I gotta get my car all back together soon cuz not bein able to drive it is makin me CRAZY!!

...do you have no depth perception? it's not good when you don't know where your car is, and it's not like the celica has a harshly sloped hood...and the seat position/windsheild is very when it comes to driver placement.
also, you do know to take that off when washing, and take it off for a while every now and again right? my brother made the mistake of leavin one on his older camaro for an extended time, and it dulled the paint and what not.

actually I have 16/20 vision... and exuse me all to hell for havin a refrence point on my car - personally dont like hitting parkin blocks, curbs.. small children

BTW just a little FYI - Really dont think its gonna matter if the PRIMER on my hood dulls a little......

edit: I see you finally took off the shopping cart handle off the back of you car... looks alot better

I finished my set a while back... and they look dope as hell... thats part of why I cropped the photos above the way I did... as for producing them - I was gonna and then couple people on this board really pissed me off about some stuff they said... they also happened to be some of the same people who where wanting the sideskirts I was gonna make so I decided to just make my own and if someone wants to try and make em themselves then I will help then out the best I can (may do a write up) but as for bustin my ass to make these for some people who just talk mad sh*t.. well they can figure it out themselves
