Good news AEM makes intakes that add a hundred horses, lol.
It could be head work but I doubt it.

That is either a scam, or just a typo (180 hp would probably be a green light for me). The 99-00 Si comes with 170 bhp, period.

Even with a swapped B18C5 engine from a JDM Integra the engine wouldn't have more than 210 bhp (or was it 200, oh well).

Well the stock one even with a full exhaust and AEM intake couldn't break 160whp, much less 280.

Nobody claimed 280 or 170 whp here.. The ad says 280 hp, and I said 170 bhp, so full exhaust and intake on a 99 Si should get about more than 170 bhp (that is a stock cars bhp value).

was saying that even with the intake and exhaust it couldn't make more whp than it's stock bhp, the mods make a good difference but not 20-25 hp, maybe 15-20 hp at the most.

i can't knock hondas...
they have amazing interchangability, and a swapped head on certain blocks would look stock to me, but 300hp all-motor is doable frown.gif frown.gif

Its probably turbo'd, and it probably has that. I guy locally was putting down 200 to the wheels running 9 psi. He is now running 14 psi don't know what hp he is putting down he hasn't had it dyno'd since he upped the boost.

but guys you are forgetting about the sweet sideskirtless body kit, super sweet grille and altezza lights. those all add mega power on those hondas. so he could be up to almost 280. hondas react better to those mods than toyotas do tongue.gif

That's all? My buddy's all motor gsr puts down over 200whp and he just has ITR internals.

That engine doesn't look big enough to be an H22, must just be a douche bag. I mean come on, look at his body kit...

I find it Ironic that you guys are bashing on someone's car that comes 160hp stock with a 1.6 ltr engine, and is pretty clean(not riced out), a car that is faster stock than any stcok gt or st (USDM versions), just because its a Honda, a quality made car.

that car is riced out. It's far from clean. A clean honda is usually jdm as hell with top parts on it (Mugen, JUN, advan, ect)
