it looks good, but it isn't doing anything at the moment
but a cheap lil filter for the time being and you wont have a RICE sound, you will have a meaner sound...and it may actually add a pony, who knows

I kicked my stock air filter to the curb long ago!! I like the noise the short ram instake makes (cant afford to like any other sound haha) Its nothin ricey... just a deep throaty sound. Dont knock it till u try it w00T

Actually from a realistic stand point that pipe might do more then you think. Consider this

read some where:
dyno result confirm that a SRI will do just about the same as a hi flow box airfilter minos looks and sound.

consider the fact that technically celica airbox feed on air that come from the fender thus cold air.

Soooo if she gets a hi flow airfilter the elimination of the ribs and that small resignator proabably would give some HP.

However also keep in mind she still has that larger resingator in the bumper.

think of it as a trybrid intake 1/3 stock cai 1/3 sri and 1/3 hi flow air filter

btw lol u really do get full use of that camera phone dont u. I should get one too. (yes my loser a$$ doesnt have one lol to lazy to upgrade)

I love my sound rice or not, sounds like a vacume or as every one says a crazy air leak. its soudns awsome.

You also might be right to a point. where as the stock air tube isnt a stight tube its a tbent or crushed plastic, kinda of like an exhaust flow. but not really help to any noticable stand point.

keep the box.. you might not have the deeper sound.. but you have cooler air then if you did a short ram... get a K&N filter if you don't already have one... nice i like the little shinny thing... lol

Yeah he pointed out a good body kit, to have installed at the shop.

And Pann Auto DID do an excellent job on the turbo setup as well.

I have much respect for mike as well. Hes has very good taste with 6gc customization and is a pretty cool guy.

actually, urban has pointed out a very good point (in detail), good job urban.

we all know that intake and output (exhaust) are two things that can make or break even just a little hp. all of the interfernce that the stock tube creates slows direct airflow, an therefore takes power (even if it's just a little). seeing that your new tube is a solid, mandrel-bent pipe, the airlfow will obviously be more smooth.

i think that everybody is underestimating what you did because they decided to spend all kinds of money for a short-ram that only makes noise and breathes nice, hot engine air...
