if u rip the fabric off, most of the foam will come with it. under that is the black vinyal, like what your whole door is covered with.

![]() my doors are like this..so i might just dye them black..i used a spray dye today on my 7th gen seats to colour the back of them. They were like a really really light gray colour, so i bought some black spray dye yesterday and tryed it today..it looks good and took me like 20 min with cleaning and every thing..so i guess when i get the car back ill do the doors like that and the back seats |

kind of OT.. but dayam.. how to people get the interior of their car to stay so black? the damn sun makes it fade... i've used these spray type things which are supposed to make it shine and looking new but it just fades so fast (especially parts you constantly touch)

Have to start before the sun gets to it.
One thing -- don't use Mother's Back to Black. I used it on my exterior trim to reblacken it and it worked for about a week. After the initial application fades, it actually made the grey worse. Try Meguiar's #40 Rubber & Vinyl cleaner/conditioner. It won't give you the glaring sheen of most protectants, but it'll improve the look and longevity. |
