I dunno if any one has ever driven a stick VW, but the first gear and the reverse are the same, just reverse u push down on the lever. This just shows how stupid some ppl are/u know they cant drive..

yeh dude they are weird, I drove my buddies and I kept starting in 3rd gear. lol damn VW's

Its not the same. Reverse is Left from 1st gear. But to get to shift in Reverse you will have to push down (or pull up if you have a Opel/Vauxhall) to get it into reverse.

that guy has to be pretty dumb. for vdubs you gotta push down and put it beside first...

yeah when I first got my 91 GTI I was worried about accidentally putting it into reverse, but, if you have ever driven one, it is not something that you can do on accident.. you have to push down and put it on up, its not as easy as putting it into first.. I'm saying the video is staged, coming from a previous VW owner...
