"This JDM Toyota 3SGE VVTI Beams 210hp Motor is only found on 98-99 Celica or 98-99 MR2 (Only in Japan). The Latest Toyota VVTI Technology, the Best Motor you can ever have for your Celica or MR2

It will bolt on to any 94-99 front wheel drive Celica."

Wouldn't this swap be a nightmare to wire up rolleyes.gif

it says it comes with the trans, so wiring would be the only problem.. and for .99+850(shipping clip) or 650(shipping engine,tranny,ecu.. no body panels)

Ebay item number.. since the links arent working:

This swap has never been done before correct? How difficult would it be. I have a shop that does swaps but they have never done this one. This engine is so clean. I want it.

If you buy a FULL front clip - then this swap will be just direct BOLT ON as it writen.

Cuz if you have clip and your car next to it - you couls easily transfer all the components (exept A/C) to the car without any major problems. All you would need to do is just enlarge the wiring what it could enter the interior on the oposite side of the car. Here in Lithuania i know 2 guys who done RHD to LHD conversions on Beams engine and on GT4 engine (the GT4 owner is registered here on 6GC, not the guy who made the conversion, but the guy who bought the car). And the conversion was kinda easy.

So this option if you buy full clip is the best and could be done without major problems.

That is an awesome clip, 210 HP, and it even looks awesome in the engine bay. With that clip, would you get the projectors too since its part of the clip?

hey, nice mod does it come in hetero?

you would have to swap the gearbox of the clip too. Cuz i dont think your gearbox would go along with this motor.

not a scam, the guy set no reserve, and a low starting price, he knew it would get big. something like that is going to go for a pretty penny. he knew what he was doing "wow this clip is pretty cheap i should bid" then the next guy says "wow this clip is still pretty cheap i should bid" then the next guy says "hhmmm its getting expensive but its worth it"

yeah, definitely not a scam because i bought his rear SS-III splitters off the same car that the engine came in.
though i asked if he still had that engine sometime in june but he said he sold it already. now, it's on ebay??
but anyway, he's a reliable seller.

no i don't think so, most of his ST202 parts are coming off the same ST202. if you look at his other auctions, he's got (white) sideskirts, rear strut bar, (white) spoiler posts, and other misc items. the SS-III splitters i bought were white also. and the car with this BEAMS engine is also white.

it was about to sell for about $1,325 then the seller ended the auction and reposted it for just under $4000.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=7993856551

I dont think its gonna sell now, you have to pay $4000 for the clip
another $800 for freight plus whatever it cost you to have it picked up from your local port and then money to the shop that installs it. If its not working what are you gonna do? take it out and send it back at your expense?

he probably realized that there are many people who want this engine and rather than selling for close to $2k he goes and doubles it to make more $$$. on top of that, most of his other auctions are very overpriced.

except for the JDM tails that i won from him yesterday! and his rear splitters that i bought a couple of months ago. biggrin.gif

its too much of a gamble at that price ,sure 210 hp is better than 135 but is that swap really worth the trouble?

He had a one time offer of rear struts too, but that sold for like $100 and some $$
I wish I could have bought those, but fitment is still unknown tho for us USA 6gc owners.

I dunno, but anybody rich enough to spend that much on a piece of metal pipe that connects one part to another is too rich for me. My best offer was only $50.

I think he's asking who won the engine, not the strut bars...
