i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Would you like some recommendations on where to look?

Sure but these are places I tried,

NAPA
Autozone
Pepboys
Advanced Auto
TapRecycling(to far away if worst comes to worst I can get from them)
Jarco
Car-part.com

So if you mention any of those I will come over to your house, take your car, and kick you in the forhead! smile.gif

I would like to see that. Anyway, try (530) 342-3830 and ask for Josh. He will hook you up.

By the way, did you get your mount issues squared away?

Yep. The MR2 parts superstore. I know you had a bad experience super....but you are the only one I have ever heard of. I bought some stuff off him and he did a nice job.

I could do it, I ate my steroids and wheaties today, plus I am trained in the art of ghetto hotwiring, ninjitsu, and I am big gangstapalegic rap fan. smile.gif

Are they open on weekends J?

On the mounts I'll post later about if they worked or not.

Also on a side note how do you remove the mechanical speedo sensor and replace it with the electronic one?

its a one man shop called Chico race works. You can see the website at www.chicoraceworks.com. I have no idea about the speedo issue.

Ok my axles are on order and are supposed to be here on weds. So my car should be done by this weekend.

I say supposed to be here on weds. because they were on order from autozone for 2 weeks.

On the mounts if you use the st185 crossmember with the e153 tranny, 3 of the mounts will like up and fit fine, you will have to do a custom mount for one of them. Which is what I had done.
