basicly i can play open cards and tell you the whole situation, just that you guys could imagine:

Projector units: Good ones might cost about 100$ for a pair. Sometimes they cost about 30-50 for a good used pair but not the best ones....

Inner housing around the projectors - including all matterials will cost about 20-30$ not much at all and not too hard to make...

Shrouds around projectors (the chrome piece what covers whole projectors) original ones might cost about 80$ for a pair. To make custom ones - about 20-30$

Glass polishing - 100$ here. Expensive.

Making metal plate for projectors assembly - about 2$ LOL smile.gif

And all this not including work, and it is about 2 full days of work to make them...

so in total we get about 260 in matterials only, not including work. And theres a lot of work, atleast 150$ needed for work. so in total it is about 400$ as for 475$ you can get JDM lows.... this is why it is expensive....

well then how much does it take to make the highs? Didnt you just paint the inside of regular ones black? I would pay for a set like that.. I think that is still cheaper than JDM projectors isnt it?

how much were the parts might need to hit you up when i get my car back.

My FMIC is big in height, i drilled holes just to let the air to the top part of FMIC, there will be still more of them, and im making custom mounting for license plate to not close these holes, but what they where wount visible..

so how close is it to running and what are those circles where your plate goes

Romas, my FMIC is huge too. Its about 14 inches high and I have read that as long as at least 1/3 of the bottom of the intercooler gets air, it will do its job well since the air from the bottom third will disperse very well into the rest of the intercooler. In fact, what I have read is that allowing the air in from only a portion of the intercooler actually works better. I might be able to find the link for you. In short, I doubt the holes are necessary.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

i think u will be looking at a hefty price for all that manual labour...

although i know of a few people who have done this... but for a price...

in the end we (camry people) got a group buy going for just brand new crystal clear headlamps from depo lighting... (someone knew a wholesale distributor who got us the headlamps)

Hey, can you get PM me his contact information and anything else that would be helpful? Thanks man.
Romas- I know you've "sold" the car, but are we going to get finished pictures of it? Like a full photoshoot of it? We need it man. Also, this may seema bit odd, but Christian.... would it be worth it to start a type of hall of fame type deal? Include the most memorable of cars that have been wrecked or sold? Just an idea.
