Hey everyone. I am a senior in high school and need some help. I've always planned on going to Purdue or IUPUI then the Kelley School of Business. I dont want to go out of state for college, and I need help finding the best school for me. I plan on becoming an accountant/cpa and also plan on taking over m parents rental house business. Thanks for the help guys n gals

oh my god, why would you choose to be a cpa. Im in accounting 2 right now and the class is so annoying. it is the most easy 4 credit class ill ever take though.

I know you said you didnt want to go out of state, but University of Illinois (UIUC) is not far, and it has one of the best accounting programs in the nation.

I'm not sure how it works in the US, but over here Finance and Accounting majors in Commerce overlap a fair bit, so it's quite possible to try for 2 majors without having to spend much extra time, so you might like to keep that in mind. I'm going for a Finance major myself for my Commerce part, which probably isn't a good idea considering I find my accounting units about as interesting as one of those Sunday business talk shows.
