Well, my second motor mount will be in Tuesday(for those that don't read Celica.net, I broke the front and rear mounts at a Rallycross event, thought it was just the front, and after installation, found out the rear was broken as well). Should have the car by 5pm Tues.

I am also having the car 'freshened up' by a friend of mine. No more dents, and a fresh coat of paint. All in time for Pigeon Forge. biggrin.gif
I'll be posting before pics next week, and after pics just after the meet(don't want to give anything away). For those curious, it's staying black, but that's all I'm saying. Well, that and the rims will still be ****ty untill at least December.

Simple. Motor mounts are made of rubber(well, rubber with a metal housing). It looks just like a big bushing. The engine pushes against these mounts to spin the flywheel(which in turn spins the rest). The more resistance, the harder it pushes on the mounts. Push hard enough, and they break. Not to mention 9 year old rubber isn't very strong.
I'm sure someone could give a better explanation, and I'll post a pic of one tomorrow, but I have to go to bed now. I start a new job at 8:30am(it's just after midnight here).

Forgot, prices. Front: $53, Rear: $57
Capitol normally gives me a discount, so don't quote my prices to your dealer. And this doesn't include labor(which would be about 1-3 hours). The front I changed myself in 20 minutes. The rear I am taking to have done. I just don't trust WalMart jack stands that much.
