tail lights are peeling Options

so after painting my tails roughly two months ago the paint has started peeling off. has anyone else had this problem?

I'm thinking it might be because I put on too many coats (6red, 6tint, 5clear). Or maybe not waiting long enough between coats ~30mins. Or maybe just the cold weather we've already been getting up here in Canada. I used testors paint so i'm not sure how great that stuff is for the weather.

any help is appreciated because I wanna try this again.
