why is this doing this? and how do i fix it, ive played with the throttle cable at throttle body w/no luck. and also i know this has been asked before but my car puts out a puff of blue smoke when i start it after it sits for a couple hours. could this be oil setting inside the cyl. settling after a couple hours and if so could it be a piston ring leak confused.gif

check your floor mats to make sure they are not making the gas pedal stick

the oil buring at start up is a common celica problem. its cause by leaky valves. really nothing major to worry about and many people never even get it fixed. just keep an eye out on your oil level
