slick all the way around, no recession where the wiper or the nozzle would go. just 1 hole for the 3rd brake light.

they will take it back if it doesnt fit, but its really looking like itll fit no problem. i wont be able to get it put on for a couple of days at the best, or a week at the worst.

i asked about cf fenders and they will do it for 450 per pair. (maybe down to $350 if we get a lot of people for a group buy??)

i got a quote for transferring the old glass onto the cf piece....

$150

putting it on this saturday, w00t biggrin.gif

the guy is going to come to my house and do it. they said itll take approximately 1-2 hours and i can drive again an hour later.

the website is www.safelite.com

give them a call and see what they can do in your area smile.gif

if you want to just get a brand new window installed, it would cost ~$550

this was posted when we started this go back and look for your selves if you want.
"Will be made completely Shaved (ie. no wiper or 3rd brake light)"

i already planned to never do business w/ them again due to how horrible this GB went, but...wow, bad

the safelight auto glass guy drove to my house and did the whole job in about an hour. it cost me $150 flat. just a couple of notes:
- all the holes that the plastic panels snapped into are sealed in the cf hatch. there is an indentation, it just needs to be drilled open.
- all the tools u need to remove and install hatch is socket wrench and regular wrenches (sizes 10-14mm)
- cf hatch is about 1/4 the weight of the original and goes up a helluva lot quicker

i also went to the anaheim convention car show. here ya go!

Also, sorry if this was already answered, but what is the weight difference?

WOW, i want mine now!!!!!! It looks so sweet im happy i stuck with this G/B. And as far as the 3rd brake light goes im happy it has one. IDK about everyone else but i would DEFINITELY get pulled over for not having one, at least in NY i know you need one. And Forkee- did you have any problem hooking up the rear defroster? And also have you noticed any rattling?-----looking good, now lets just see how long it takes everyone else to get theirs................

honestly i wouldnt feel comfortable putting a wing on it. its really thin. a brace would keep it attached but then there will be stress points where the brace is and i can just visualize it cracking. it would have to be a simple spoiler (or a cf supra-like spoiler...hmmm..i wonder smile.gif ) and you would have to close it by taking hold of the hatch lid instead of the spoiler.
