VIDEO: High speed chase ends in car crash with police cruiser Idaho Falls, Idaho -- A high-speed police chase led to a spectacular head-on crash, and it was all caught on video. It happened Tuesday in Fort Hall, Idaho. The state patrol was chasing an aggravated-battery suspect. After 30 minutes of speeds reaching 100-miles-an-hour, the chase came to a crashing halt when the van the suspect was driving slammed into a parked police vehicle on the side of the road. Luckily, the state trooper managed to escape the car just moments before impact. The suspect was hospitalized. That's pretty freaking amazing.
