I have searched alot of the posts and still haven't found an answer yet--

can you use the individual throttle bodie setup off of the 4ag on the 7afe if you can have someone weld the aluminium flange off the 7afe to the 4ag throttle system.

I want to do the complete head swap but I would really like to see what I can get out of the 7afe head with as an extreme of a P&P as I can get with the individual tb's and all the other mods I have(check my profile).

i'm not going to answer your question but give you a few more things to think about ...... ok i answered a few

1. Arent you turbo? why do you want ITB's?
2. how are you going to control them and then tune them
3.the F head is not a performance head and when it gets alot of heat it losses alot of power i saw this on the dyno there are no cams available for the 7afe only welding and regrinding the stock ones but you only can adjust one cam because of the slave cam design

4. money wise if you want itb's get a 4ag head that comes with them

5. if you want more info go to club4ag.com you would be doing what those guys do to there blue and red top 4ag when they add ITB's

:I'm with stupid ^:

j/k nik, i totally agree with him. If you're lookin for power dont bother w/ the fe head, ur totally shooting urself in the foot, for less cost you could prolly get the ge head set up pretty nice and it'll worth some extra power as well

Wouldn't ITBs be desirable on any engine, including a turbocharged one, for better throttle response? Tuning would be harder from what I understand, but wouldn't that be the only downside?

Although you are correct coomer... it depends highly on what a person wants. ITBs only make power when the engine revs high. Turbo cars don't need to rev high... so it depends on what you wanna do (gotta match it to a turbo, tune, etc...). I personally would NOT do ITBs on a 7AGTE (16V) or a 7AFTE... but I would definately do it on a 7AGTE (20V) or an n/a 7AGE (16V or 20V)...
