FF3: Tokyo Drift, Anyone scared? Options

Im so scared...I was scared in the first place to find out its basically based off of Initial D but now to find out that Bow Wow is the lead im even more scared! A girl I know from a forum is down on set in Cali. Its half filmed in Cali and half filmed in Tokyo. She says the cars are tight and theres only 3 hondas on set which are RHD and a lot of nissans - duh! Im hoping this will be the best of the 3 but of course it will have its lame moments! ya know what i mean BRA?!

Granted I love drifting but a good majority of the Nissan guys locally up here are not excited to see it come out because it will give drifting a bad rep.

I am excited though cuz the DRIFT KING is in the movie! But I hear he has a lame car!

Well the underground street racing scene became mainstream and it got shut down which is probably a better thing since it is ILLEGAL but i mean it was underground before and safer! This being in regards to the northwest scene

now with a drifting movie this means RWD cars will start getting stolen and part prices for 240s and other rwd cars will go up! and yes stupid kids will start pulling ebrakes!

but ill still see the movie

ok I have to step in here for a second. I have attended a few of those "underground" events and can guarantee you that most of such events are mainly peaceful and possess no danger to anybody. The only thing that kills the fun is that people get scared and call cops due to the noise violations.. but then hey no matter what you do.. whether you trim your bush and or using chainsaw and or hammering and or listening to music... people are big arses when it comes to respecting the rights of other people to make noiise. Cops come to our house all the time cause someone here is playing music and or watching tv.. and instead of knocking on that person;s door and asking to lower volume people just call the cops.

When it comes to car racing... i find it more exciting to see many cool cars racing in the right atmosphee than seeing them on the dragstrip.. but then again the only time it is fun tol go to such events is when nopi events occur and you get to see the chicks the show cars etc...

Ya I agree with u. After fast and furious came out, there were a lot kids and people who started getting chrome wheels, body kits, neon lights and what not for there cars. Honda just shot through popularity as the civics were shown hijacking cars. Then movie 2 came out and now people are obsessed with Evo and mitsubishis. I feel like this is gonna start another car craze with nissians and create crazy honda drivers. Too bad, Toyota's are harldy seen in any movie. Minus the supra..... It be great if they could show a pimped out 6G celica in the movie and have it cream other cars!

Just watch out for HONDA's now, they might actually think that they can drift and drift right into you.

I was talking to a mustang guy last night and i was like hold on i gotta take this turn and i was like whoa i hope the cop didnt see that and hes like "oh did u just drift" and im like "haha wtf! no..i just took it sharp" and hes like Oh my buddy goes drifting all the time in his honda and im like uhh thats not drifting! and hes like yeah it is! and i was like ok then!

so i guess after this movie ANYONE will be able to drift!

i met that emerald chick in the sc400 shes a sneaky lil BI. and the doluck supra is SICK i looked the motor over last summer it puts like 500rwhp down when i saw it and sat in the chassis when it was at kanasai in seattle (hope i spelled the name right). part3 is gonna be like the rest ill watch it for the cars and the women the plot just sucks.

um the soarer is not an sc over in japan and the 1jz is a sc250 if it were here. and she has the sc400 lexus with the v8 and is running single turbo and its an auto.... NASTY!

I need to know when im going to start getting mad tickets for driving around town/having to put a $5000 security system on my car/and all the rest that'll come with this

I like my car. i dont want to be sterotyped. I dont want to have to sell my car, but if it gets outta hand like the first two did for that underground scene. then i see no other option. all i can picture is 16yr olds totalling a million of the million and one 240sx' out there.

I drift... on a track, I also autoX, im starting to take interest in roadracing at tracks, and I cruize around enjoying my car...

I hate this ****** movie... >: (

from what i've heard that black 350z is suppose to be the bad guys car
it looks like the 350 was suppose to spin out on purpose but i dont know i'll go see the movie no matter what
