This could be a repost... But bare with me people tongue.gif

Just curious.. Some of you people out there are really into the modding scene... What's the total amount of money you put into your car. This goes for engine mods, suspension mods, exterior mods, interior mods.. you get the idea...

Lets see... With me
I put in an estimated $2070 into my car...
And thats mainly exterior and interior

Thats kinda a lot considering I havent really done much rolleyes.gif

Probably between engine, audio, and suspension I'm looking at about $2300-3000 max. I have much more planned, and I would've spend around 4 grand over the summer except I spent my money on other big purchases instead.

Most of my money was spent towards the rebuild. $3k.
The rest was spent on misc parts, and more lovely breakdowns that has happened within the last 2 months. frown.gif
About $7k.

Don't even want to think about it.

After I got some insurance money back, probably 10k-ish (including purchase price)... good thing I have only paid for minimal labor.

$8500 for car in August 2004
HKS hi-power muffler - $350
B & G Lowering Springs - $225
Stereo - $550 (sold for 175)
Raiser Blocks - $190
Paint - $2000

So, with price of car, $11,815.00 Was tempted to buy that beams swap in the b/s forum, since it would only cost me $3182 to get it here, shipped, but just spending $2k on paint job, decided i couldn't afford it.... would've been sweet though. I don't think any money spent on my car was a waste, it looks awesome, and it's my dream, that's worth it to me smile.gif
