So I go to a local high school show yesterday and while im walking around I see a black 6th gen celica ST owned by a local club in the area that no one has respect for cuz they think they are the Shiz! Plus I dont like the owner cuz hes turned down the offers to my car show like 5 times when everyone else in his club wants to come! Anyways so the club paid 25 dollars to enter this celica that had nothing done to it but some nice ENKEIS and a nice long deep scratch from fender to fender. THese guys do some crazy things to their car though so Im thinking they may do something wicked to it. NOW I JUST GOTTA MAKE MINE BETTER SO MINE GETS MORE ATTENTION!

don't do the emblem if you don't have the car...that's just my opinion. that's like takin a 240sx and stickin a Silvia emblem on it. or a civic EX w/ a SOHC VTEC sticker on the side...it's false. smile.gif. but hey, do w/e. i'm just offerin another opinion.

I agree, don't do the emblems unless you have the car.

I do have the car wink.gif just not under the hood of the car! I could definetly pass it off cuz no one really knows what a GT4 is unless theyre into toyotas! But im just gonna get it and see what goes down! Anyways yeah ive decided on not doing a body kit. And im thinking that I should paint my car. I LOVE MY CAR IN BLACK! but if i want to be in shows and lights will be off then my car wont stick out so maybe in the fall I will have to paint it but I dont know!

Thanks for the input yall

Ok, you would be really surprised at the amount of people that would know what a GT4 is. Most people just don't know that the GT4 doesn't exist in the US. I get numerous people asking me "AWD Turbo?" or "All-trac?" or "GT4?", some people need to get a clue, but they know whats out there for our Celica's. Yea so don't destroy the GT4 reputation by making your GT a 20 sec GT4. I have a friend with a 200SX that has done almost a complete Skyline Conversion, ie: Wheels, Tires and Body Kit (nothing under the hood or tail lights yet), and we always call him the 10 min. Skyline.

Don't get GT-4 emblems / wing posts. There's a word for dressing your car up to make it look like it's a higher end model when it's only the low end version;

RICE.

Ha thats funny but im not tryin to dress it up to make it look like a higher end model in my head.

But arent we all trying to dress up our car to make it look higher class if we do anything to it?

Anyways. Im getting the posts cuz I personally want a different spoiler and I personally think the supra spoiler or any wing by veilside or some company like that looks like SH*T on our cars. So why not get a spoiler that is on our cars?!

Natilie, since your going to be showing your car, then your really going to have to do some wid stuff to your car. IE bodykit, and stuff like that. Now since your getting the GT-4 front then you should get some either stock sides or the 404 sides, and the rear, your going to have to get different rims cause the 7th gen rims are cool and all just not ment to make the show scene. Leave it black, or when you repaint it stay with the black and get something put into the clear like a pearl or a metal flake. It looks like you have ambitions to win some shows and you would for the conservitive class. But if your wanting to win in the bigger events your going to have to drop some serrious cash into it to be able to compete with the big boys. Also if you go and put the GT-4 emblem on your car thats heading down the rice road, which is dumb to do to a celica.

Im not looking to win shows at all! NO THANKS! I hate compeiting!

But I just want a clean ride that is appreciated. Oh and the 7th gen wheels are just temporary cuz they look better than the stockies i had on!

I gotta agree with whats been said. GT-FOUR emblems on a n/a Celica is rice, no doubt about it. Ultimately you'll do what you want, but what you have going so far is pretty nice, you should go for a full conversion. A clean JDM conversion with WRC lifters and front/rear/side skirts would look sweet, you could even get a 3S to back up the look once you have the $. In my opinion that is the most attractive celica of all time, the stock GT-FOUR WRC.
