Does anyone know what the little circle is for just above the vent on the left side of the instrument cluster? I'm assuming for some switch to power something not on my car. There are also two rectangular spots under the steering wheel, one on either side. Switches? Lights?

This one might be a little tougher: While at the junk yard on Saturday I noticed that we have a panel that snaps into the ceiling of the glove compartment. It looks like it is supposed to hold something tubular. I can't find it in the owners manual.

the first one is a place where people install the led for their alarms. u could also put a nice engine push start button there too, lol

2 rectangular spots could be used for switches. thats what mine is used for.

i dunno bout that last one

the circle is for Celicas in other countrys, they have a rear fog light button there.

the 2 rectangular spots are also for overseas celicas, 1 for headlight washers, and the other I think for headlight leveling.

no idea. I would assume that it is for access to a harness or screw for removal or airbag stuff.

I'll see if I can get a pic up of the glove box piece. It looks like it can hold something, not like it's just for accessing the airbag.

it's just an in-cabin feature to level your headlights out so you don't have to wrench them under the hood to level them out. would be pretty handy IMO

I pulled the panel in the glove box that I thought should hold something. Sure enough it does. There's a yellow connector with yellow wrapped wiring stuck to it which means only one thing: airbag. The car I saw this on in the junkyard had the airbags deployed so that connector must have been ripped out during or after the wreck.
