ok.. this must be the most retarded question ever... but... can some1 tell me wtf a parking light is??? when does it come on? i mean... when parked ur car shouldn't have any lights on right?
also... when does the side markers turn on? when u put ur blinkers on? when you have the emergency flashers on? or...? -------------------- |

sidemarkers are on when you turn on your lights...and also when you have your lights on but your headlights off... they dont blink with the blinkers...allthough its possible. the parking light im not really sure about, i dont look at my tails too often when parked.

"Parking Lights" are the step between having your headlights off and on, where the front turn signals come on 50%, side indicators come on, and tail lights come on 50%. I think they are called parking lights because if you pull over on the side of the road in the fog or at night, you would want people to see you from behind, but not from the front.
It sounds like your side indicator bulbs are burned out. |

The side indicators don't blink unless you modify them to blink they just are on with the lights and when you have the lights one click on instead of two clicks.

o wow.. i've been driving for 4 years and i have never heard of these parking lights... i always just put emergency lights on when i stop on side...
ah, so that's what the 1st click is for when you turn on headlights. since you always turn it to click twice... man i feel retarded -------------------- |
