I have '98 Celica with FM CD + Cassette. I removed FM CD to put some wires to CDBox, but before that I tried to put FM CD back to make sure that everything is OK, but it didnt work anymore!! Does anyone know what can be the problem? kindasad.gif

make sure that your ground still has a solid connection, and check for a messed fuse, its quite easy to just slip and short out without noticing.

yes, i have already checked, no prob there. i used tester, everything should work.

sometimes with any alarm, it might be connected to your CD player, so when you unplug it, it won't work anymore. That way if someone broke in, and tried to steal it, it wouldn't work.

It cant be alarm, fm-cd has only CODE protection. I think I maybe took power connector off, when I had key in ignition. Can it be the problem why it doesnt work anymore? I know lot of manufacturers make that kind of sh**, because then car owner use dealer service and new parts... maybe OEM amp doesnt work then too?!?

Does newer Celica cd-fm-cassette fits to 98 celica? or does anyone have for sale 11802 cd-fm?
