my friend told me that he cut like an inch and a half off his factory shifter, and it reduced like 20% of his throw, that was on his prelude, has anyone done something like this for our celica's. Let me know if you have and how well it works.......you know all the good stuff.

Yea, it's called a short shifter, and it's an aftermarket part that does exactaly that for you.

yeah i made my own short shifter. there will be a how-to on how to make it as soon as coomer authorizes it. it works really well, i havnt hada problem with it at all. if you dont want to make it yourself, then i can amke it for you, but it will be for a price. let me know

well that reduces the throw a little, but the aftermarket quickshifters will also make it more notchy. def worth the money. -------------------- 1994 Lexus ES300

i did this and it was cool at first but i kept cutting it making it shorter and shorter, and after time you get used to it being short. you still have far to shift and i still want to get a short throw shifter. it was cool for a little while then you don't even notice thats it shorter anymore so it sucks
