I noticed one of my rear wheels has noticably more negative camber than the other side. I've heard the rear camber IS adjustable with our cars but looking under the car I can't see what is supposed to be adjusted.
I want to do this myself until I have the time to get it professionally aligned. the top big bolt on the struts bottom thats like a 19mm

ya the top strut assembly bolt, one side makes it positive, turn it around for negative. at least thats what ive been told, or pay 40-80 bucks for a 2 or 4 wheel alignment, make sure its computerized and you get a copy of the printout.

Do you mean take it out and slot it in the other way round? Adjusting the bolt doesn't really effect the camber - there is only a small amount of play.

You should be able to buy some "crash bolts" from Toyota that will allow for camber adjustment pretty inexpensively. I notice people on here stating there is some rear camber adjustment stock, but the older Hunter 4-wheel rack I used to have access to did not list any rear camber adjustability. The info is probably on the forum somewhere.

Not sure how changing out the top bolt allows for camber adjustment, just looks like it replaces the bolt. holy 4 year old thread. good job on using the search function. replacing the top bolt with the thinner new bolts allows you to push the top in/out very slightly, which gives you some camber adjustment |

4yr old thread but always needed info. haha. best to use this info since its what I wanted to know about instead of creating a new thread without any reference. So does this give more camber adjustment only because the bolt is skinnier? Not sure if I want that much play in the suspension even if its a little. How much camber difference can it give compared to alignment?

its not compared to an alignment, its an additional tool used in an alignment.
i believe you achieve more camber by its skinnier so that the knuckle can tilt some, but it should still be secure w/o movable play since its a clamping force. I'm not 100% on these as i don't have 1st hand experience with them |

thanks...I just think the skinnier bolts even though tightened tend to flinch little by little every time you hit a bump not making it secure enough. eventually, it wont be the same angle anymore as when it becomes first installed. Anyone who have them here have any input? Besides that, the bolts wouldn't even provide enough adjustment anyways. My question is what is there for our cars that is true camber kit correction.

camber bolts are the answer... and like mike said there are adjustable top mounts out there. in the honda world where they use a upper and lower control arm they make aftermarket arms that help with camber ... this is not the case with celicas though.

you should get it aligned on a rack. oem spec is slightly negative to compensate for road crown.

Nope. I don't know the accurate read of it when my car is dropped low but it has enough negative to where I say my car looks super lazy and I want to add some more positive camber. Lol.
