Difference between SS-II and SS-III Options

Japanese 6gen engin is
・3S-GTE（LASRE α 3S-Ⅱ TWINCAM 16VALVE TURBO）
・3S-GE　（LASRE α 3S-Ⅱ TWINCAM 16VALVE）
・3S-GE　（BEAMS 3S-GE VVT-i）
・3S-FE　（LASRE α 3S 16VALVE）

SS-I is 3S-FE , Macpherson Strut Suspension
SS-II is 3S-GE ,Macpherson Strut Suspension
SS-III is 3S-GE , Super Strut Suspension

But, some SS-IIs came with the superstruts (it was an option)

1994 ones had no airbags different tail lights, Climate Air. 1996 Ones had Better looking tail lights, dual airbags, manual air con, 1998 ones have white dials, Recaro Seats, Twin Airbags, Had the same tails as the 1996 model and they also had climate control on the ss2 and ss3 model, the ss1, ss2, ss3 all had HID Headlights. The ss2 from 1998 has the beams 3s-ge 200 Horsepower engine more than the 1993-late 1997 that had 180 hp manual and 170 hp auto and the ss2 1998 had a factory bodykit with side skirts something the 96 had as an option. Than theres the curren which is the coupe version of the celica it doesn't look as good though.

Only very few I'm afraid. Most got the standard 175bhp 3S-GE.

Yeah the 1996 and very early to mid 1997 celica ss3's had the 170 hp 3s-ge in december 1997 the ss3 had the BEAMS VVTI red top engine and was only offered in white.

Beams SSIII (You can find of course Beams SSII) came also in Black/Silver/Blue/Red Guys you havent checked photos from our Cyprus meetings?

You can notice here a blue,a black and a red SSIII (Beams)

This isn't correct. No sixth gen. Celicas came with HID headlights.

Sorry xenon lights than. They give off a blue light on most of our imports they give off a better light and they ain't cheap about $45 for 2 bulbs if you need to replace them my dad has them in his toyota echo as well.

They dont.

It is just projectors or non projectors. None of the celica came with blue lights or whatever off factory.
