just for the simplicity of it id like to stay with the stock gt set up and try to upgrade with a heavier duty clutch assembly

yea i have an ACT street disk and heavy duty PP in the car now (its rated to 250ftlbs and its been in over a year now, with no problems) and i have no complaints about it.
as far as which brand is better or whatever, its all a matter of who you talk to.
if you talk to enough people, you'll hear "horror stories" about every clutch out there.
IMO spec, act, clutchmasters..ect..all make good products, as long as they are installed proplerly.
if your doing it yourself, IMO one of the BIGGEST things is to #1 make sure your flywheel has been properly resurfaced, and #2 make sure every part is SUPER clean. i mean SUPER clean. use LOTS of brake cleaner (it leaves no residue)
dont be shy with the brake cleaner.
good luck! wink.gif
