No pics yet because it's not worth it... you can only see the pearl under sunlight, and it's been cloudy and raining/snowing here for the past week and a half. so as soon as there is sun, i'll take pics! I haven't even seen it under the sunlight! frown.gif

i picked it up yesterday from where it was getting painted (in the country like 15 mins from where i live) and it was freezing rain/snowing, i was scared i was gonna get into an accident.. but i didn't. smile.gif then i drove it today and it was like a sheet of ice, and still pretty dark outside, so i was nervous, and i still couldn't see the pearl frown.gif not cool... hopefully it'll clear up here soon, but we're supposed to get like a foot of snow around new years, so we'll see, i'll get pics for ya soon!!!

just so you know, the car has a coat of white, 2 coats of blue pearl, 1 coat of ivory/yellow pearl, and a coat of white pearl on top. it IS sexy under normal light, but under natural, sunlight, it'll look WAY different, i can't wait.

here's the pics

yeah tell the sun to hurry up! I'm gonna wash it saturday.. it's a complete mess here, snow, sand, and melting, so the roads turn your car brown... if it's not sunny saturday, i'll take cloudy pics tongue.gif

oh very true, as i said above, it's not sunny yet.... in clouds, my car looks like your average white. but under lights or sun it's very... very nice, but no, you won't see the full effect unless you see it in person tongue.gif

holy poop! I may very well get to see it in person, are you ever driving around north kildonana area?? or perhaps i will see it if theres another toyota meet this summer. Even in the pics it looks slick though. I love white cars. However, If you have so much as left your driveway i can bet your car is dirt brown right now like mine. Theres always something to complain about weather-wise in this city

I personally like the look of the black posts on a white car. I couldn't get the same effect, flat black on black.. not working..

yeah, well if you would've seen the blocks in real, you would've realized that 1) they weren't black, 2) they were horribly unfinished, and 3) they had white edges...... it looked terrible tongue.gif this looks WAY better in person than before.

the best part for me is that the bottom of my doors aren't falling apart anymore, i got all my rust fixed, and i had like 15 door dents in each side, those are all gone.... this wasn't just to make my car prettier at all, i wanted to stay with white, so i decided just to do a "fancy" white, but yeah, the only reason i got my car repainted was because i had an insurance claim that took care of most of the cost... biggrin.gif
