I'm wonder if it could be possible to refurbish or complety fix my front bumper cover. If so would it be cheaper to just rebuy or rebuild it?

well first off take off your front bumper completely. since it's plastic it should reshape after having all pressure released off it. then figure out what you want to do. i replaced mine completely when mine was way worse. yours looks like an easy fix so if you need anything, it would be a heat gun.

I took it off, it didn't pop out. I like bent it back a little bit but it stills sitting there. I need to take picture of the damage to the support and all. It is ok to have the support off. i know some of the OEM type covers you must take it off the the c-one.

My hood is not set right. I don't know if its because it was pushed back or if it was bent in a certain spot. You saw the picture of my cover. My Passager Side High Beam Lamp brackets are broken, I took out the lamp and the balancer just flew out.. My Bumper Support Beam on the passager side is completey mashed inward, Looks like some blowtorch **** is gonna be needed... The front metal frame that holds the cover on strait is mashed, I bent it back a bit so It won't look so kookie, Imma get some pictures of it soon 2 show ya.
EDIT: I had 2 accidents never fixed the first one and I had the 2nd one about 6 months after. Here is the pictures from the first. http://photobucket.com/albums/y166/o0black...ca%20Incidents/ So add about x2 more damage from those. This post has been edited by o0black0o: Dec 30, 2005 - 1:41 PM |
