I can't find the WRC st185 Front clip Ive looked all over. At sunrisejdmmotors.com they have a ST185 complete swap. What do you guys think go for engine that says complete swap or wait untill I find a front Clip?

if this is you 1st swap. wait for the front clip. just from that pic alone, i can see at least 10 things missing that would make your swap a lot harder.

Ok I can wait for a front clip. I hope I can anyway. What parts should come with a 3SGTE engine to have a complete engine swap? ECU, engine harness, and all the little sensors what am I missing? But I do have a list of after market parts I need. Spec performance Stage3 Clutch, HKS lightweight 3SGTE flywheel ( I really wanted the C-one Flywheel but it was to hard to find), HKS turbo timer type-1, HKS boost controller EVC, Walbro Fuel pump, Blitz B.O.V. DD, HKS Speed limit Defencer Type-1. Yeah I know I love HKS.

if you dont wait for a clip now, then youll just be waiting and looking at your 3sgte as it sits there with missing parts..lol

dont wase your money on toys. turbo timers, speed limit defenders and crap like that are all just toys. get the motor in and make sure its running.. then once you are confident about the motor, you can buy other toys for it. remember, clip or no clip, this is a used motor from a car that was worth nothing to the people in japan. it was exported like a red headed step child over sease just so that someone can make a few bucks off it. for all you know, you could find out your motor is blown or has some other issues. so save your money untill you know everything runs right.

Ditto. A BOV is going to make your car run rich in between shifts, thus bogging it down. Is it really worth it just to here a whistle when you shift? tongue.gif
