The tranny is down. I could take the right driveshaft out like nothing , but the left one seems impossible to take out. Prying it and pulling doesnt budge at all. Is there anything i have to do before uninstalling it?

Read this thread:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=19611

I don't think the slide hammer and cv atachment was mentioned in that thread, but it is by far, the fastest way to take out the drivers side axle.

Other than the advice already given I can recommend using two pry bars, one from the top and one from the bottom. That method keeps the shaft straight and doesn't bind the snap ring on the inside of the transmission.
