i have to tell you guys that he is the nicest person ever! he found a set of fogs on ebay and bid on them for me cuz the guy only ships to the states and is now sending them to me YYYYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i'll stop harrassing everyone for their fog lights  sorry... had to share

thank you for the compliments... it will look 10x sexier after i put these fogs in... instead of those gay aftermarket ones.. amy: before i got my car it had been in a front end collision.. i assume it probably lost the fogs then, and the guy just didn't bother looking for oem ones.. and just installed the ****ty ones i have now... needless to say.. i'm very very VERY excited to put these on...

Lissa, the more I think about it, you have a 97 GT (fogs were standard), the brackets should be on there (I hope they weren't damaged in the collision) these should almost be plug and play...

the other thing i didn't know about, was if the brackets on there now holding the crappy fogs, would be able to hold the oem fogs? i dunno either way, you said the brackets aren't too pricey from the dealership, and my dad works at the toyota plant, so he gets a discount at the dealership.. it will all work out wonderfully in the end hahaha:D -------------------- lissa | 1997 Celica Convertible

its not yellow, it just has a lot of crap on it.. just needs to be cleaned up a bit and buffed.. but i'm afriad of taking it apart because i dont wanna get all that condensation in my lights

Glad to see you got them
I should of buffed the lenses a bit for you when I had them. I didn't even think about it, I just checked to see if they were broken and relabeled the box and shipped them out to you. You might want to wet sand them with a fine (2500 grit) sandpaper then buff them out with a some scratch remover/polish and a clean buffing wheel. That would really clean up the outside lense. for the inside, I wouldn't take them apart. Try spraying some cleaner inside and use something like  or this  to clean it out. Then make sure they are fully dry before installing the bulbs. BTW... priceless

Hey Lissa, you should be fine by taking the lense off... Boiler water and submerge it in the for around 15 mins and the will pry off... If you are a QUICK cleaner and just giving the rub down and all that on the inside you can put it back on and clamp it again without and problems. If the glue drys too quick for you though, any heating gun will work great... I had stuff in mine and cleaned them out no problem.
