Heres where it gets a little fuzzy. Ive been doing a little research here and there for sound stuff, and ive come to find a general consensus is that Audiobahn makes pretty good amps. They are normally worth what you pay. Now subs and speakers are a whole different story, most people dont prefer the speakers by audiobahn...so if its just an amp, id say go for it. But as quick said, there are much better amps for your money out there.

It really depends on what amp you are planning on getting. Several of the audiobahn amps get hot fast and then the safety feature on them turns the amp off before it burns itself out. So say your driving. BAM! there goes the sound in you car. Pretty sketchy...so heres what you do, go to crutchfield.com, type in your model number and then search... read the reviews. The audiobahn amp doesn't do to well with customers. Sigh... hope that helps...
On a better note, I like Kenwood, MTX, and Alpine amps. |

there not bad, for the prices you can get em at, there pretty good but deff not the best, I really like my audiobahn amp but its not the best, I will probably replace it for something more worthy to power my Eclipse sub.

That what I'll be getting, if I get a sound system. I dont think you need 2 amps to run 2 of those type r sub. Although you might need a single bigger amp to them. Alpine doesn't make Ixtremely huge amps. So either yah, go with 2 amps or consider buying a JL amp or Rockford, they pash huge watts. But seriously I don't think your going to need that much bass. But actually you don't need to match the exact RMS of the Sub with the RMS of the amp. Oh yah, MTX makes good sub amps that push hard. Go 1 channel class D all you need is about 750 RMS to push those subs hard. Hope that helps.
