heres a few pics of my girlfriends Rx8 that i have been driving, i used to not like them but i actually like this car alot, i wish it had a little more torque but hey you can't have everything, and i its prolly a good thing i don't really want a ton of power under her foot lol.

Hears a pic of when we first got the car a few months back trying to drift, the drift wasn't that great but i thought the pic turned out great

Very nice looking car! You're lucky to have a girlfriend with good taste in cars! Seems like all the girls around here drive cavaliers or sunfires confused.gif

actually i had experice with both, and yes the rx8 isn't has "powerfull" as the rx7, but i think with a couple grand u could make an rx8 jus as good as any modded rx7

since the 7th gen was totalled ive serisouly been thinking about getting one of these. if i can find a nice one for ~13g ill probably get it and slap a greddy kit in there.should be good for 230+rwhp.

ive looked at them a lot and it seems that the rx8 is nothing short of better than the rx7 and i love it.

very hot rx8.

it just doens't have the torque or other cars in its same price range, and its heavier, but the 9g redline is pretty sweet and if you can keep it there it makes of the lack of torque. but if i had the choice i am pretty sure i would take a 350z over this one lol

she gotthis one for 20 wil 40k milesso it was still under warranty

i thimnk i'm going to put a nitrous kit on it, i've always heard that rotory motors can hold it very well, prolly a 100 shot or but i don't really want to risk going much higher than that

thats where your wrong. the rx8 almost has the same power of the FD. Nobody ever said the FD is a god, its initial pricing when new was nowhere close to being a god.

Anyway about torque, you are driving a rotary they dont have torque. Even the 20b doesnt pull the torque, mind you its better then a 13b but not like other cars. You are buying a rotary for its rpm range and well uniqueness. wink.gif

dont post that on a rotary forum or you will get flamed till days end.

its a nice car....but dont be doing burn outs and **** in a car thats not yours!

i got to test drive one a while back. i thought our celicas had great handling, but man, the rx8 felt a lot better. only thing i didnt like is that it seemed to lack any power unless you keep the revs very very high.

and as far as burning out in someone elses car it isn't just sombody elses car its by girlfriends who i am going to be getting married to this year. (after summer) and she wanted me too just as much as i did, only because we got new wheels and tires

yeah but are you ready and willing to pay for any damage that may happen to the car as a result of a burn out?

lol come on man 99% of the time the only damage that can occure is to the tires, and i had already bought new ones. but yes if you don't know what your are doing you can harm the engine great from over hearting and etc... but i was very carefull and watched the gauges and stuff and if something were to happen yes i would have been ready to pay for it.
