Well I bought a 7th gen Celica shifter off of ebay and put it in today. I took the clip off (the one holding the pin in front of the shifter) and it broke. Does any one know where I can get one. Also I never used the shift mechanism lifters. I could not get my hand in the space and the bolts supplied by the kit were not long enough. This is the best $30 I have spent on my car but I put the lifters in will it make it a smother shift. Thanks in advance for any help.

BAM ---> http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22975&st=20 i didnt put the lifters in at first and the bottom cup rubbed on the floor. so i put the back two in and it was perfect. it took a while because it was hard to get my hand in there. i think i held them in place with pliers This post has been edited by dlx742: Jan 17, 2006 - 12:19 AM |

That is a good idea about the pin and drilling a holl. As far as i can tell the shifter is not hiting the floor but i will put the spacers in anyways when have time, it can't hurt. thanks for the help.
