 Thoughts on this noise |

when im backing out of my carport, slight downhill, and turn out of it, i brake then go into drive and once i release the brake and car moves forward theres a klunking noise, to me it sounds like it comes from the rear...then as i drive forward and brake again, the brakes squeel. could that be the strut bearing? could it be that sway bar bushing, could it be a caliper, could it be because i have no shims on right now..any other ideas?
shims will go on today, will grease strut bearings too well, turns out a blown right front strut...accidently striped a sway link end too. This post has been edited by LewFX: Jan 18, 2006 - 7:14 PM --------------------  |

well, if you know you have no shims in the rear..(i know how it feels, ive had mine rot to nothing over time..leaving me with nothing too..haha)

i put shims on the rear but once i put my stock strut back on, the klunk went away. now my front brakes are squeeling...kill me!
