it all matters how much you want to spend. i went with a used motor w/ about 70,000 miles on it, what i did was look in the phone book called about a dozen places near me and i got mine installed for about $2000. it you have about $4,000 you can get a brand new reman. motor from jasper and all kinds of shops install jasper motors plus they come with a 3 yr warrenty. it matter how much you want to spend, but the best place to start is calling people from the yellow pages

I actually would talk to a shop. i have a friend from church that runs his own body shop and he found 2 or 3 great deals on some rebuilt engines.

Car-part.com or something similar is defnately your best bet.....if I were you guys I'd try and get one out of a newer Camry or Solara, something that you know some "racer" hasn't been beating on for the past 10 years or anything and probably will have much lower mileage since they are newer models.

Also try to post up some WTB's on Celica sites since alot of swappers get rid of them and can likely be had for cheap. Depends all on what you can find and for how much, but its definately a common motor.
