Well, they came in! I got my rims yesterday and oo-la-la....sweetness. (for anyone who doesn't know they are the gunmetal 17" exel m-6's wrapped in nankang rubber.) The one thing that sucks though is my wife and I can't find our digital camera. I will get some picks up as soon as we find it though!!!

A question though for anyone who bought rims. Once you got them did you want to roll on them right away or did you want to just baby them entirely? smile.gif I know know one want their rims to get messed up but did anyone go completly out of their way to ensure this? I think I will for a bit but not obsessivly.

congrats, how much did it end up costing? at first I was really careful about my wheels, but once I hit a curb it just felt like a lost cause. lol.

I babied mine considering how much I spent on them. You can baby them so much you can't always keep them safe. Eventually forces of nature will take over that you can't control. Ex. curb, debri, mother nature, etc.

Well they're on and they look good!!!!!!!!! I went to get them aligned and one of the guys drove it in a puddle and got some dirty. I know this will happen but come on, the first day!? Some friends at work want me to have my car completly detailed so when they see the rims the car will look good with then.

As for the cost I got them for $807.00 from wheelmax.com. If you buy a package deal then they come with the tires mounted and balanced.

I lowered the car some (adjustable coilovers) but I left a little bit of a fender gap. It's not the worst look in the world but it's not the best either. I only did this because I drive on some crappy roads and want some distance from the ground.
