I bought a bunch of parts from you a few months back. You said that your grandmother was in charge of sending them out. My parts were never shipped and you took my $80. I've been pm'ing you on the celica forums but you shut off that feature. If you don't refund my money then I'll have no option but to pay you a visit. You'll be saying RIP to your other celica as well. I'll be seeing family up there and the 2 hour trip itsn't that far out of the way. It'll be more that worth the loss of my $80 if you don't refund it.

I thought I would Post this into response into gettin this very threating email, so it would at least be known, as well as I wanted to state all the facts.

1. Yes my grandmother was in charge of all shipping, because I work nights and sleep during the day, I had a few other shipping problems that were settled.

2. I never took your 80$ all the money I have ever gotten is still in paypal, It still hasnt been cashed to this day.

3. It is true that my PM's are disabled on this board and many others because I do not have time for them. Althought I do clearly have it listed my AIM contact which is online alot, and also my Email address which is the same one you emailed me today at.

4. A few months back? If this is true why wait a "few" months to contact me, I know you at least had 3 ways of contacting me, AIM, Email, and a personal letter. Also you could have contacted paypal for a complete refund. Also in some of the threads I have posted you never posted a response "contact me" and also If you read my post about my red 96 celica, why didnt you post contact me?

5. I do not take kindly to threats and If I receieve another I will be contacting my legal adviser.

6. You have 2 choices,

I. Send me a email describing all the parts, your address, and I will personaly see to it that they go out tommrow January 30th, 2006.

II. Contact paypal and have them refund your money, I gurantee its still there.

I agree. There have been a few comlaints from other members about you. Ship Steve's parts out or return his money. Its just that easy, end this already

he shouldnt have to go through paypal's long drawn out refund system to get his money back, you should send him the money back via paypal and pay the insuing paypal fee for being the one who screwed up, thats how a proper refund should happen when the seller is at fault.

you should change the name of this thread to... problems with Clipsetuner. its pretty clear that you took his money and didnt bother to follow up on the transaction to make sure he got what he paid for. you need to refund his money or mail out his parts asap.

I've tried to contact you for the last 3 months. I even put you in the bad sellers list. I've sent numerous emails over the last 3 1/2 months and kept in touch with you in the 1st 6 weeks through PM until you shut off the feature.

Eh sorry about that, I dont personaly do the shipping, my grandma does because I work nights, sleep days so no time. the last batch of packeges went out thrusday and she forgot to get tracking... I know... but cresis and others have got theres so expect yours soon.

I have a show in just over a month, and have been searching for parts like crazy b/c you weren't going to send them. I've already found a few parts from other sellers, so I'll take option # II. You just have to go into your paypal account, go to our transaction and hit the refund button.

Yeah I remember Coomer driving 3 hours to come get me then 3 hours down to Portland to meet up with you for some wheels but u were no where to be found when we got there...So yeah maybe u shouldnt be selling things cuz u havent been reliable in the past.

I have bought stuff from dustin and the transaction was not very smooth.


Even though I got what I wanted ( the rear shock tower cover pannel) from him; the tabs where broken off. I even pmed him about the tabs specifically before I sent payment. He also said he would refund me 10 dollars because of the broken parts; but i never got the money back. Another incident, was when I sent him a personal check and we decided to cancell the deal and return my check. I never recieved the check back.


Dustin, you could have easily send money back to the buyers through paypal. By logging on to paypal any time of the day and click the send payment button. When money is kept inside paypal means its in your possession even though you never took it out. When the buyer request a refund, it often get messy and sometime the buyer doesnt get there full money back.

just wanted to add that steve is a good guy, very helpful and true to his word. im sure clipse is also a good guy ... who need to refund the money so everything can be cool again

clipse bro im sure youre job gets in the way of things but u still need to handle your own business...i think you should have made sure that everything was sent out properly to avoid misunderstandings like these

I'm not gana takes sides but I did buy stuff from clipsetuner and was very happy with em and the shipping was fine. its not at all hard to contact him as well, or atleast I have never had any truble doing it.

There is no excuse for sending an e-mail like that:

That's a horrible thing to say, if I ever got an email of that nature, you have no idea the trubble you'ed be in, Its crazy to get that worked up over a lowsy $80, I mean come on.

However, as someone selling stuff over the internet, its your responsablity to see to the shipping yourself or though a reliable source, I worked over a year at night, 10 hour shiftrs, I know its hard to keep up with things, but it can be done, just have to make it work, and if you cant get things shipped just send the money back, or keep in close contact with the seller and ask them how they would like things to work out.

Buying stuff online is not safe! I have been ripped of several times because buying things online from un-trustworty sellers (for much more then $80.) it sux but life goes on, have to just let it go sometimes, and learn from it.

Woe, what the heck is this? He payed you for the parts, and you haven't sent them and he's mad, and now your wining about it? Dude, not cool. If I were you, I would just stop dealing. I'm not going to jump on here to tell you-your wrong or not, but you should refund his cash immediately. 2 weeks should be the max it takes anyone to get parts. I've been ripped off twice online, but i was fortunate to get my parts after mass postings about the persons/companys and gulp some threats. Remember the fiasco with extreme doors and Perry on this forum? I understand where he's coming from, being angry and the threats. I don't like getting ripped off either and I had some major money on the line. Give him back his cash through paypal and lets move forward here. Theres no need for hostility on this forum.

1. steve- you embarras me to own a celica because of how your reacting.
2. everyone that has commented "yeah do whats right or your gone if i have something to do with it." thats also embarrasing and a threat.
3. now dustin knows about the situation and its clear to everyone so he should and needs to handle it to let it be to him to take care of that.

my real reaction is what everyone else said, but it's people like this guy that i always pay the $5-10 for 100% paypal protection(when outside ebay).

please add him to the buyer/seller feedback when this is all figured out so other buyers are aware, because right now he's on the good list.

Sorry to bring this back, but this statement is not actually true. I didn't want people to think they could sue for assault for threats.

Assault is an intentional act causeing expectation of injury or offensive contact. ACT, ie, words are not enough. It must be some outward movement creating immediate expectation of danger.

For instance..

If I am a gunslinger with a gun in my holster and I see you on the street, I can say, "I'm going to blow your head off." This is not considered assault

Once I pull the gun out of the holster it becomes assault.

yeah just send him the money. we know u (clipse) work long hours but shipping only takes about 5-10 minutes to ship? i spend 5 minutes to ship items i mean if u can't do that then i dont know what else to say. i personally dont know u both so i dont know if yall bad or good people so im not gonna judge. but from what i read is that clipse should pay because he shoulda took responsiblity and ship it, not someone who doesn't know what he's doing. im not saying your grandfather is doesn't know anything k clispe. btw u can sleep anytime hehee you're not gonna die if u dont sleep

You can say that again. From sept 21st until 2 weeks ago I work 85-100 hours in a week. It started on 3rd shift sunday night at 10pm and ended on Friday around 5pm. I worked a 1st shift and 3rd shift job. I slept around 3 hours a day during the week and still made it to the post office to send out money for things I bought and to ship a few car parts I sold. Your reasoning is bogus and you still haven't found time to make it to paypal and click the refund button. Come on dude, this is ridiculous.

Yeah so dont try and Scam me Steve (celica3sgte), I sent your parts, and a Email with a tracking number at least twice. then you proceed to file paypal fraud on me when you have your parts in transit.

I sent you a email asking you with what you wanted todo, either send you the parts, or refund your money, you NEVER responded(typical I might add) untill after the packege was shipped, so I sent your parts w/ tracking too.
