your best bet is to get a 7th gen SS from ebay. They are about $45 and work just fine, very similar to the TWM SS.

got my ebay short shifter in today and just installed it. kinda hard to access some of the bolts but overall easy install. and pretty good for 30 bucks. but did i do something wrong, or does everyone else's shift knob come really close to the e-brake while driving on 1st and 2nd gear?

yeah they come close because the short shifter eliminates the bend that was in the stock one that allowed it to have some space between. Doesn't bother me at all.
