I bought the best and new bright white on autolumination.com, but it turn out greeny on the numbers and the needles and everything else looks great. The new one is suppose to b the widest and the brightest.

What's wrong? Looks good to me! Much whiter than the purewhites I got... but I think the dash layer on mine is slightly yellowish.

In reference to my reply (sorry forgot to bring it back to relevance for you) I think the dashboard layer is green, that's why it's coming up greenish.

That's normal for LEDs. There will always be lightspots and darkspots with LEDs.

You just got the wrong LEDs is all. I always recommend the "wedge matrix" from Autolumintion.com or the "Super Refractor" from Velocity LEDs on Ebay. They are the ONLY LEDs I've seen that give a near perfect light distrobution. You're the first person I've seen try their new LEDs and it looks to me like they're not the best choice for our guages.

All I can say is I'm happy with my blue "matrix" LEDs. Good luck finding something better.

They're a bit brighter in person but you can see that the lighting is very even.

Wouldn't it be distracting at night to? so much bright peripheral light!

I suppose if everyone thought like me, then people wouldn't have neons under the footwells, etc etc... tongue.gif

I just like driving with as little surrounding distraction as I can. I spose my Defi gauge and GPS are distraction enough in terms of bright light tongue.gif

Bad idea, i don't think that is so safe, also, it does not let you read the gauge properly, like they were ment too. wink.gif

like this:

but it varies depending on how bright i turn the indiglo's... cuz if the are all the way up you can barely see the blue... but if it turn them way down.. it looks pretty nice.
