Well since im replacing the cv joints and axel i figure i might as well put a new clutch on since my stock one slips as soon as i start running higher presure and more tq from the engine. So now my question is... where do i pick up an ACT type clutch for a 5sfe? Is there anything else other then the clutch id be looking to get?

basicly for a 5sfte id recommend a stage 1 ACT or whatever brand clutch kit(disk, pressure plate and throw-out bearing), and have your flywheel resurfaced.

whats the diffrence between the regular looking one, the 6 and the 4 pad ones. I assume diffrent grap characteristics?

thanks for the links too i had looked at that place but thought there might be a cheaper place. of course on google they advertise like 75% off or something.

hey itchy any trouble getting it in. ive read threads about installation but figured id ask how it went in when u did it

the 6 and 4 puck ones grab really fast and hold lots of power. the dawback is that they are a lot harder to drive because you cant slip them at all like a normal clutch.

i have the act and the fidnaza flywheel. not sure how good it grabs yet cuz i have ignition problems since the new 5s, but i'll let ya know. my act holds up to 250 hp. all in all i payed around 600 bucks. act comes with a new throwout bearing. make sure you grease the friction points when you replace it.
