i need the oil return gasket, water line gasket, and the cover plate on the ct-26. i know gaskets are best bought new, but toyota does not sell them individually and charges an insane amount for the entire package.

The whole kit is what? $45? Thats for the best gaskets you can get for the ct26... along with the turbo to downpipe gasket... which should most definately be OEM toyota. Find a cheapy and then compare to the toyota. Where talking mm thick with the cheapy to cm thick with the toyota. Get the toyota set and feel good about yourself.

^ what the oem toyota gaskets are a whole CM thick, thats way too much for a gasket, should be around 1-2 mm thick no more, the thicker it is the more likely it its to break and leak due to movement/vibration.

Research, Creis, and make sure that is true. Have you seen a toyota gasket before?

I don't know where you're shopping, ummmx2, but that isn't right.

you can get any gasket you need from toyota, should be 10-20bucks a gasket.

keep in mind that some of the guys that work at the parts counter are idiots and look up the complete gasket set because they dont feel like trying to figure out what one u need.

I paid like 4 bucks for my oil return gasket. The one dealer had it listed for 3.88 but like 2-3 days to ship it in, or the other place had it for like 4.25 in stock.

Meh.

yea, its just a matter of walking in with hte apropriate pt #s and say, "get me these parts." and
do you price match?
get all the prices from partznet, and give em to them.
that way, you always get the discount, and no bull from the dude @ the counter.
ill post the PT#s for you when i get home from work later

thats the turbo to manifold gasket pt#17278-88381 22.76$
the oil return gasket is PT# 15741-88580 4.28$
the water pipe gasket is PT#16347-88380 1.76$
the cover plate is not listed. your best bet on that is to call either josh from chicoraceworks and see if he has one used, or aaron from ATS racing.
the prices are from www.partznet.com smile.gif
