This is purely for my own comfort.
A 5S-FE head from a camry (1993 if you want specifics) is a mechanical clone to a 5S-FE head in a celica (94), right? I should have no trouble bolting it right on? I know they are the same, but are there little mounting/postioning differences between the ways the engine was installed in the camry vs. the celica? No one wanted to jump on this, so lookie what I picked up today: ![]() Next up, acid bath, port job, and cam regrinds courtesy of my good friend at Howards Cams. Oh, by the way, for those of you in the know... does that valve train look okay? It seems pretty rusty, then again it was sitting around for quite a while. Is that normal? Oh well, it wasn'tall that much money; hopefully the bath will clean it up.

they "should" be the same, but being as how its a 93 head, they very well could be casting diffrences from 93-94. idk for sure. .
as far as condition, cant really tell from that pic, looks used...lol=) This post has been edited by presure2: Feb 11, 2006 - 8:43 AM -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
